User Search enables you to search for all users in your organisation. Results can be retrieved in a number of ways including; by first name, last name, clicking on initials of first and last names or by entering an email address.

Once you have found the relevant user, click on the hyperlink of their username to view their settings. From here you can manage their:

  • Site account settings – including password resets account expiry details and their allocated file quota (the default max. is 1024mb).
  • Institution settings – if you want to assign staff or administration roles to users.
  • Suspension status of user – As administrator you have the rights to suspend users and if necessary delete their account

Whilst in User Search Staff  and Admin access  can be granted. This allows a user to create Controlled Groups, receive and release submitted views and access a user’s key profile information (full name, student ID, preferred name).
