MUG Rhine-Neckar
On 8 August 2012 a group of Mahara users met in Heidelberg, Germany, and established that a local MUG in the area would be a great thing. The first meeting will be held on 7 November 2012. More information

MUG Wellington
In New Zealand, Mahara is used in the form of myportfolio.school.nz by schools around the country. A small group of enthusiasts met at Te Papa for discussions.
